Removing the Steamer Hose
(make sure unit has cooled)
To
remove, turn counterclockwise
to release. Turn slowly.
Hose may be stiff upon removal from box.
Hose will relax after initial use. T-handle
will sit properly on pole support once
hose is relaxed.
IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, especially
when children are present, basic safety pre-
cautions should always be taken, including
the following:

BEFORE USING
DANGER — Any appliance is electrically
live even when the switch is off.
To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
1. Always unplug appliance immediately after
using.
2. Do not place or store appliance where it
can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
3. Do not place in, or drop into water or other
liquid.
4. If an appliance falls into water, unplug it
immediately. Do not reach into the water.
WARNING —
To reduce the risk of burns,
electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
1. This appliance should never be left
unattended when plugged in.
2. This appliance should not be used by, on,
or near children or individuals with certain
disabilities.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended
use as described in this manual. Do not
use attachments not recommended by the
manufacturer.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has a
damaged cord or plug, if it is not work-
ing properly, or if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. Do not
attempt to repair the appliance. Incorrect
reassembly or repair could cause a risk
of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons
when the appliance is used. Return the
appliance to an authorized service center
for examination and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not allow cord to contact heated surfaces.
Do not pull or twist cord. Let appliance cool
completely before putting away. Loop cord
loosely around appliance when storing.
6. This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a safety fea-
ture, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt
to defeat this safety feature.
7. Never drop or insert any object into any
opening or hose.
8. Do not use outdoors or operate where aero-
sol (spray) products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.
9. Do not use an extension cord to operate
appliance.
10. Surfaces of this appliance may be hot
when in use. Do not let eyes or bare skin
touch heated surfaces.
11. Do not place the steam nozzle directly on
any surface or on the appliance power cord
while it is hot or plugged in. Use the stand
provided.
12. Unplug this appliance before filling or
emptying. Do not overfill.
13. While emitting steam, this appliance
may cause burns if it is used too closely
to the skin, scalp or eyes, or if it is used
incorrectly. To reduce the risk of contact
with hot water emitting from steam vents,
test appliance before each use by holding
it away from body.
14. Do not operate steamer without properly
filling the water container.
15. Always keep the hose and nozzle
elevated above the water container.
16. Never yank cord to disconnect from
outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull
to disconnect.
17. Burns could occur from touching hot
metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use care
when removing water tank or when you turn
a steam appliance upside down – there may
be hot water in reservoir.
18. To reduce likelihood of circuit overload, do
not operate another high wattage appliance
on the same circuit.
19. If an extension cord is absolutely neces-
sary, a 15 ampere rated cord should be used.
Cords rated for less amperage may overheat.
Care should be taken to arrange the cord
so that the cord cannot be pulled or tripped
over.
20. Never pour water directly into reservoir.
Put water only in water tank.

UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the box on a large sturdy flat surface.
Carefully remove the appliance from the pack-
ing material. Keep all plastic bags away from
children.
STEAMER ASSEMBLY
STEP 1 - Assembling the Support Rod
1. The support rod comes in several parts: 3
metal rods, marked “1”, “2”, “3”; three plastic
connectors, and one T-nozzle cradle.
2. Insert rod 1 into
receptacle in base
(fig. a).
3. Slide plastic connector
onto rod 1 (fig. b).
4. Insert rod 2 into plastic
connector (fig c).
5. Slide another plastic
connector onto rod 2
(fig b). Insert rod 3 into
plastic connector (fig c).
6. Slide T-nozzle cradle
onto rod 3 (fig d).
STEP 2 - Attaching the
Steamer Hose
Insert hose cap into steamer housing and
twist clockwise to securely lock hose onto
housing.
OPERATING

BEFORE FILLING THE WATER CONTAINER
Turn the water container upside down and
inspect to make sure the valve and spring
assembly are functioning. Place the contain-
er in the reservoir and check that it is seated
securely. If the container has been stored
with water inside, it may be necessary to
remove the water and clean the container.
Follow the steps for care and cleaning.
FILLING THE WATER CONTAINER
(PRIOR TO PLUGGING IN THE APPLIANCE)
Remove the water container with the handle
and turn upside down. Unscrew the valve
in the center of the base. Fill container by
holding container under a source of running
cold water until the container is filled to the
desired level. Do not overfill. Screw the valve
cap onto the water container and return the
container to the upright position. Place the
water container onto the base and make
certain it is seated properly in the cavity.
DO NOT FILL THE CONTAINER WITH HOT
WATER.
OPERATING THE STEAMER
1. Make sure the On/Off switch is in the off
position.
2. Make sure all hose connections are
secure and tight.
3. Make sure the rod is fully assembled and
the hose is not twisted or kinked.
4. Plug the steamer cord into a normal elec-
trical outlet.
5. Turn the On/Off switch to the on
position.
6.The switch will light to indicate when
power is on.
7. Steam will be produced from the
nozzle in about one minute.

IMPORTANTES
Cuando se usan aparatos eléctricos, especial-
mente en la presencia de niños, siempre se
deben tomar precauciones básicas de seguri-
dad, entre las cuales las siguientes:

PELIGRO — Cualquier electrodo-
méstico permanece eléctricamente activo,
incluso cuando el interruptor está apagado.
Para reducir el riesgo de muerte o herida por
descarga:
1. Siempre desconecte el aparato inmediata-
mente después de usarlo.
2. No coloque ni guarde el aparato donde puede
caer o ser empujado a una bañera o un lavabo.
3. No coloque el aparato ni lo deje caer al agua
u otro líquido.
4. Si el aparato cae al agua, desconéctelo inme-
diatamente. No toque el agua.
ADVERTENCIA —

de quemaduras, electrocución, incendio o lesiones
personales:
1. Nunca deje este aparato desatendido
mientras está conectado.
2. Se debe supervisar cuidadosamente el uso de
este aparato cuando está utilizado por, sobre o cerca

3. Use este aparato únicamente con el
propósito para el cual fue diseñado y tal
como se describe en este manual. Sólo use
accesorios recomendados por el fabricante.
4. Nunca utilice el aparato si el cable o la
davija están dañados, si no funciona cor-
rectamente, si ha caído, si está dañado o
si ha caído al agua. No intente reparar el
aparato. Ensamblar las partes de manera
incorrecta aumenta los riesgos de incendio,
electrocución y lesiones al volver a usar el
aparato. Lleve el aparato donde lo ha com-
prado o a un centro de servicio autorizado
para que lo examinen y lo reparen.
5. Mantenga el cable alejado de superfi-
cies calientes. No jale, retuerza ni enrolle el
cable alrededor del aparato. Deje el aparato
enfriar completamente antes de almacenarlo.
Envuelva el cable alrededor de la base sin
apretar.
6. Este aparato tiene una davija polarizada
(un polo es más ancho que otro). Como
medida de seguridad, se podrá enchufar de
una sola manera en la toma de corriente
polarizada. Si no entra por completo, inviér-
tela. Si aún no entra completamente, llame a
un electricista calificado. No intente vencer
esta función de seguridad.
7. Nunca deje caer ni inserte un objeto en
ninguna de las aberturas o en el tubo.
8. No lo utilice al aire libre, ni donde se están
usando productos en aerosol (spray) o donde
se está administrando oxígeno.
9. No utilice este aparato con una extensión
eléctrica.
10. La superficie de este aparato puede vol-
verse caliente durante el uso. No toque las
áreas calientes.
11. No coloca la boquilla en ninguna super-
ficie mientras está caliente o mientras el
aparato está enchufado. Manténgala alejada
del cable eléctrico. Use el soporte incluido.
12. Desconecte el aparato antes de llenar o
de vaciar el tanque. No sobrellene el tanque.
13. El vapor puede causar quemaduras si se
usa el aparato demasiado cerca del rostro o
de la piel o si no usa el aparato de manera
adecuada. Para reducir el riesgo de quemad-
uras, prueba el aparato antes de cada uso,
manteniendo la boquilla lejos del cuerpo.
14. No use el aparato con el tanque de agua
vacío.
15. Siempre mantenga el tubo y la boquilla
más alta que el tanque.
16. Nunca jale el cable para desconectar el
aparato. Coja el cable por la clavija.
17. Las partes de metal calientes, el agua
caliente y el vapor pueden causar heridas.
Tenga cuidado al remover el tanque de agua.
18. Para evitar los riesgos de sobrecarga
eléctrica, no use otro aparato de alto vataje
en el mismo circuito eléctrico.
19. Si debe usar el aparato con extensión
eléctrica, use una extensión de 15 amperios,
puesto que una extensión de menor capaci-
dad puede sobrecalentar. Ubique el cable de
manera que nadie lo pueda jalar o tropezar.
20. Nunca vierta agua directamente en el
depósito de agua del aparato.

Coloque la caja en una superficie plana
y estable y saque el aparato cuidadosamente.
Mantenga las fundas de plástico fuera del
alcance de los niños.
ENSAMBLADO
Etapa 1 – Ensamblar el soporte
1. El soporte incluye varias partes: 3 barras
de metal marcadas “1”, “2” y “3”, 3 juntas
de plástico y un soporte para la boquilla en
forma de T.
2. Inserte la barra de metal “1” en la base
(Fig. a).
3. Instale una junta de plástico sobre la barra
“1” (Fig. b).
4. Inserte la barra de metal “2” en la junta
(Fig. c)..
5. Instale otra junta de
plástico sobre la barra
“2” (Fig. b) e inserte la
barra “3” en la junta
(Fig. c)
6. Instale el soporte para
la boquilla sobre la barra
“3” (Fig. d).
Etapa 2 –
Ensamblar el tubo
Introduzca la extremi-
dad del tubo en la base
y gire en el sentido
horario para sujetarlo.
INSTRUCCIONES
DE USO
ANTES DE LLENAR EL TANQUE
Inspeccione el tanque para asegurarse que
la válvula y el juego de resortes estén fun-
cionando. Coloque el tanque en el depósito
para asegurarse que cabe de manera
segura. Si hay agua en el tanque, saque el
agua y limpie el tanque tal como indicado en
la sección “limpieza y mantenimiento”.
LLENAR EL TANQUE
(ANTES DE CONECTAR EL APARATO)
Remueva el tanque usando el agarre de
plástico. Vire el tanque. Remueva la válvula
ubicada en el centro. Llene el tanque con agua
fría hasta el nivel deseado. No lo sobrellene.
Vuelva a colocar la válvula y regrese el tanque
en el depósito, asegurándose que está asen-
tado correctamente. NO LLENE EL TANQUE
CON AGUA CALIENTE.
OPERACIÓN
1. Asegúrese que el aparato esté apagado
(OFF).
2. Asegúrese que el tubo está correctamente
instalado y sujetado.
3. Asegúrese que el soporte telescópico esté
instalado correctamente y que el tubo no
esté torcido.
4. Enchufe el cable eléctrico en una toma de
corriente estándar.
5. Encienda el aparato (ON).
6. El botón de encendido/apagado se
alumbrará para indicar que el aparato está
encendido.
7. El aparato empezará a producir vapor en
aproximadamente 1 minuto.
